Ashley Heights WMU
The purpose of this organization is to do mission activities during the year that help people in need. Activities such as:
1. Camp Duncan girls' home - Prepare birthday bags to be given to each girl on their birthday.
2. A designated offering for the life care pregnancy center is taken each quarter.
3. Help the homeless through the Teamworx origination.
4. Plan and sponsor Children activities, such as: trunk or treat, Easter activities, ect.
5. Provide school supplies for children in hoke county
6. Aid in disaster relief when needed.
7. Prepare Operation Christmas child boxes yearly. Make items that are included.
8. Decorate the Church for the Christmas season.
9. Provide lunch for the immediate family of ones who have passed.
10. The first Friday of each month is our scheduled meeting.
11. Host "Ladies out to lunch" third Tuesday of each month, at different locations.
12. Offerings taken yearly:
a. Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missionaries. (spring)
b. Lottie Moon offering for the international (Christmas)
c. Fannie Heck offering supports WMU
d. The WMU director provides all Mission information to Church as received.
